BRITISH CITIZENS WELCOME. (By Telegraph —Press Association.) CHKISTCHUKCH, Tuesday. In the course of his reply to a deputation the Prime Minister, Mr. W. F. Massey, said:—"Wβ have got to face the bringing to this country of euitable immigrants, men and women. I am not speaking of any class in particular. We must follow the example of other countries and see that we do not bring the wastrel, the imbecile, or the disloyalist." (Loud applause.) he continued, "we welcome to this country British citizens, and we can do with a great many of them to assist us in carrying the burdens of tfc\ war and to better their own social position.*'
