AND ARBITRATION AWARDS. A NEW FACTOR. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON ,- , Tuesday. Union 3 applying to the Arbitration Court for amendments to awards have been aseisted by the Government statistician's figures in demonstrating increases in the cost of the three food groups and rent only. Mr. Justice Stringer stated to-day that in future, when dealing with cost of living cases, the Court would consider rises in the cost of clothing and fuel and lighting. These matters had been specially investigated by the statistician, and lv's Honor thought the Court had more accurate data to go upon now.
