SCHOOLS ATTACKED. OUTRAGES IN LITHUANIA. LONDON, October 27. The correspondent of "The Times" at Berlin states that while the Foreign j Office has refused facilities for foreign I journalists to visit Lithuania, "Vorj warts" gives striking details of the C.crI man mercenaries' bestialities. During the attack on the College Cliavli a cavalry captain, Paten, accom- | panied by a lieutenant, soldiers, and i , j gendarmes, burst into the college hall, | and bayoneted, bludgeoned, and throttled the teachers and the boys and girls, many being badly wounded. , The ruffians later attacked pedestrians in the streets. The Jewish High School was similarly t attacked earlier, and gbl pupils who fell down in convulsions were trodden under foot. Rescuers attempting to remove the injured were also attacked and ridden down.
