VDMIRAI. SCOTT'S SUGGESTION (Received 2.20 p.m.) LONDON, October 30. Admiral Sir Percy Scott T discussing the future of the Navy, emphasises the vulnerability of battleships, which are now costing eight millions. Hs suggests the construction of many aeroplane-carrying ships, both 6hips and aeroplanes being usable in peace time for the carriage of passensers.
