Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, nt the request of the Cambridge Chamber, is co-operating, with that body, view to getting an increase in the supPy of sugar for the Waikato. Stocks m Cambridge are practically non-existent, and a sugar famine is threatened. Telegrams have been sent to the Hon. Herries and Mr. YoUng, M.P., inviting assistance to overcome the acute position » which the Waikato is now-placed.
