OVERSEAS MAILS.
It is not likely that both the lonic and the Remuera, leaving England within a short time of each other, will carryEnglish mails, -but it is almost certain that one or the other of them will have letters on board. The Mabeno, from ! Sydney, arrived at Wellington vester-l day with an Australian mail on "board. I' It -is possible that these letters may': arrive by to-morrow morning's express, : while the Kauri, to Wellingeon on Tuesday from Melbourne, has some 50 bags of mail on board. That should be delivered in Auckland about Thursday of next week.
