Information was gained by the "Auckland Star" to-day to the effect that a writ had been served upon the Management Committee of the Auckland Workingmen's Club in connection with th_ recent expulsion of members who formed the committee of inquiry, arising out of whose report there has been so much discussion. The writ claims the reinstatement of the expelled members. Messrs. Benson, Malcolm, Watts, and Brierly, and also damages on behalf of the plaintiffs. The case will come on for hearing at the Court at a later date.
