BUILDING BOOM.
FLOURISHING TAKAPUNA. Takapuna Borough Council on Wednesday evening sanctioned building permits to the extent of £5,590. The Mayor (Mr. W. Blomfield) stated that in three weeks thirteen permits, involving over _26000, had been applied for, and claimed that in the borough there was a bigger building revival than had been experienced in any other part ot the Dominion in proportion to population.
