INQUEST.

DEATH ON PAKATOA ISLAND. The death of Alice Elizabeth Walker, 6S years of age, was the subject of an inquest before _>Ir. J. E. Wilson, S.M., at the morgue yesterday afternoon. The evidence showed that "deceased was taken ill at Pakatoa Island on October 19, in what appeared to be an epileptic fit. She •was brought to Auckland, and died at the General Hospital next day. She had had no previous seizures of this kind. The inquiry was adjourned J o allow of further medical evidence obtained.
