H. Guii.son for the I Koskill seat at the forthcoming general I election. Mr. S. 3. Ambnry presided. - j The meeting was addressed by Mr. W. J. " ] Holdsworth, who epoke of Mr. Gnnfion's t ' splendid services to the people while he t was chairman of the Auckland Harbour I ; Board, and later as Mayor, during some 1j of the most trying experiences the city has ever passed through. Strong com mittees were formed to work in various parts of the electorate. Further meetings will be arranged throughout the district. A meeting of the supporters of Mr. J. H. Gunson. Mayor of Auckland, in his ■ candidature for the Roskill seat, is to ibe held in the Methodist schoolroorrj D Pah Road, Greenwood's Corner, this . evening.
