Archdeacon Hawkins, of Miss Ada Wells, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. H.'Wells, Devonport, to Mr. Frank MaAneny, youngest son of Mrs. M. McAneny, of Domain Street, Devonport. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a simple frock of ivory white crepe de chine, and a handsome veil wreath of orange] blossoms, and carried a shower bouquet of white flowers. The bridesmaids were .Miss Myrtle Wells, sister of the bride, nnd Miss Decima Harper, who 1 oth wore salmon-pink fugie and black hats, and carried pink bouquets. The bridegroom was supported by Mr. C. W. Coudrey as best man. and Mr. S. C. Wells was groomsman. The officiating minister, the bridegroom, best man, and groomsmstn were all returned soldiers. A charming dance was given by Mrs. T. Cottar at her residence, Remuera Road, on Monday evening, for her niece, Miss Nancy Hanna, when between 70 and SO quests were present. Mrs. C»ttar received at the entrance to the ballroom, and wore a black brocade gown with ninon overdress. The decorations of ine ballroom were carried out in pale pink roses, and the lights were also shaded in pale pink, while in the supper room the tables were decorated with ranunculus nnd streamers of Iyeopodium. which descended from the roof, and were caughl in bunches of pale pink ribbon.
