The Kducational and Law Committee, 2 to which the matter had been referred for con>iclcra.tion, made the following recommendntious:- That a Chair of Law be established, llic profresor to he apj poimted at £71X1 a year, together with a ' whole-time lecturer at a year; ._ that the law subjects in the School of Commerce be taken over by the School ( of Law; that Mr. R. M. Algie, lecturer ( j in law, 'be appointed professor undo: those conditions, and that the proposed lectureship be advertised.
