FRENCH EXCHANGE RATE.

CONSTERNATION AT TAXI,. AMERICAN CREDIT WANTED. (Received 12.10 p.m.) LONDOX, September 18. The "Morning Post's" Paris correspondent reports that the French newspapers express consternation at the sudden fall in exchange, and express the opinion that the only solution is for America to open fifty years' credit of £1,000,000,000, interest at 4J per cent, leaving France free to utilise her credit to buy in any market she pieases.
