MORRINSVILLE NEWS.
A farewell was given to Mr. A. Orr, of Morrinsville, on Friday evening, prior to his leaving the district. Mr. P. S. Phil•pott, president of the Morrinsville branch of the Fanners' Union, .presided. Lieut -Col R C. Allen, In proposing the toast of "Our | Guest," said Mr. Orr spent his life in a j plain sensible way, and now he was goini away there would be a very big blank He | wished Mr. Orr the best of good fortune i The toast was honoured, and "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow" was sung, and hearty cheers given for Mr. Orr. Mr. Orr duly I responded. j At the annual meeting of the Morr'ns yville Chamber of Commerce the following | officers were elected-.-President, Mr W iC.
