JAPAN AND THE LEAGUE.
DUTY TO AID PEACE. (Received 10.10 a.m.) TOKYO, September 15. The Marquis Sainji has beseeched Japan to understand her responsibility in aiding in promoting the League of Nations which will ensure the world against the menace of war if effectively administered. It was Japan's duty to help to consolidate a lasting peace based on the principles of right and justice.— j (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
