CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. The City Council to-night, after a lengthy discussion, decided by a majority of one vote to accede to the application of the Canterbury Progress League, on behalf of the Performing Musicians' Union, to give a public orchestral concert in Christehurch on one Sunday evening in each month.
