Wilde, Pooley, Carpenter, Dempsey. KARANGAHAKE BOWLING CLUB. The Karangahake Bowling Club held their annual meeting on Friday, a large number of members being present. Mr. E. Jury, was elected president, and the balance-sheet showed a credit .balunc of £16 10/, with which to start the new season. Mr.' D. T. Attken, the retiring president, was on Saturday, August 30, presented with a handsome gold watch, suitably inscribed, from the residents of Karangahake. He is about to leave the district for the Te Puke gold mines.
