LORD JELLICOE'S REPORT. THE AUSTRALIAN FORECAST. I MESSAGE QUITE INCORRECT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCnURCH, Wednesday. "Can you say what truth there is in the forecasts of your report on naval matters to the Australian Government, which appeared in the cables this morning?" was a question put to Lord Jellicoe to-night. "All I can say," 'replied Lord Jellicoe, "is that the report as given in the cable message m quite incorrect. May I suggest before any assumptions are made on the subject of the report that those desiring to do so should wait until the report is made public, if it is ever made public." Asked as to the progress being made in respect to the report being prepared for the New Zealand Government on naval matters, Lord Jellicoe replied: "1 am trying to work on it in the intervals of hospitality, and I managed to get a fairly good day at it yesterday."
