DIVORCE AND DAMAGES,

HUSBAND AWARDED £1,000. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NAPIER, Tuesday. After hearing evidence in camera since last Thursday, the jury to-night returned a verdict of £1,000 damages against J. J. Faulkner, the co-respondent in the divorce action brought before the Supreme Court by F. A. Price against E. V. Price, and found that the respondent and co-respondent had committed adultery. The jury also found that the petitioner had committed adultery with some woman unknown.

Mr. A. Gray. X.C, appeared for the petitioner and Mr. C. 1\ Skerrett, K.C., for the respondent. Mr. Gray formally applied for a decree nisi. Costs will be decided later.
