THE LOCAL, BODIES LOANS ACT, 1013 PROPOSED LOAN" OF £90,000 BTin STREET IMPROVEMENTS A\"r, DRAINAGE IN THE GRET LYKv AREA. $% The Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland hereby give notice in pursuance of Section 0 of the above, mentioned Act, 1. THAT the purposes for which the Loan Is required are as follows:— (a) The sum of £85,000 for the permanent construction and improvement, of the following streets in the Grer Dynn Area: Allen Road. Arnold Street Ariki Street Beaconsfield Street, Browning Street, Baildon Road, Crummer Road, Coleridge Street, Cockburn Street, Campbell Road, Chamberlain Street, Castie Street, Dryden Street. Disraeli Street, Edgars Road, Elgin Street Farrar Street, Francis Street, Firtk Road, Grosvenor Street, Garnet Road, Great North Road, Harconrt Street, nope Street, Hinemoa Road; .Tesse-H Street, Kihgsley Street, Livingstone Street, Larchwood Avenue, I.«ighton Street Maidstone Street, Mackelvie Street Maxwell Avenue, Murdoch Road' Millais Street. Northcote Street' North Road, Deviation Road, oi({ Mill Road, Pollen Street. Peel Street, Kegina Street, Richmond Avenue, Richmond Road, Rose Road. Surrey Crescent, Snrrev Street, Sussex Street, Selbourne Koad, S.iekville Street, 'Sehofield Street, Tennyson Street, Tutanekai treet, Williamson Avenne. "Warnock Road. Wilton Road. Wellpark Avenue, Westmoreland Road, Wall, mo-ford Street, West End Road Wilson Street, (b) The autn of £5000 for drainage works in the Grey Lynn Area. 2. THAT the Auckland City Council being unable to provide the necessary fnnus for such works out of the ordinary revenue of the City proposes to borrow a sum not exceeding £90,000. ". THAT the proposed security for the rennyment of such Loan shall be a Special Rate of Twopence Three Farthings on the Unimproved Valne upon all Ratable Property in the Grey Lynn Area. . 4. THAT the Auckland City Council proposes to make such Loan repayable in twenty-one years, and proposes to make provision for the payment of a Sinking Fund of not less than £1 per centum per annum. 5. THAT tb--.- Auckland City Council proposes to pay out of SUCH Loan such costs, charges, and expenses as tie Auckland City Council may determine to have been actually incurred in connection with such Loan, but not the interest or Sinking Fund thereon for the first year.
