FOUND SHOT.
FATALITY AT OPOURIAO. (By Telegraph.—i Press Association.) WTTAKATANE, this day., Nelson Semmens, aged about 30, employed as a milker by Mr. E. Webster, of Opouriao, was found dead on the farm with the upper part of his head blown off. Particulars disclose that deceased borrowed a gun from the homestead on the farm on Sunday, sat"ing he wanted it to shoot a hawk. As he -was missed later the police were notified. Yesterday morning Constable Greenslade searched the fai-m, and found the man's dead body on a cattle track leading to a lagoon, with a shotgun on the ground pointing to the man's head.
An inquest on the body of Semmens ia proceeding. His employer, Mr. E. stated that the trigger of the gun was caught in some ti-tree in euch a positioo as to indicate accidental discharge.
