PUPILS RETURNING HOME.
ISSUE OF RAILWAY PER^nTS. Now that p<irmits are being issued by the Railway Department for school boarders to return to their homes, the local office is being inundated with applications. Since yesterday the number has increased from 12 to approximately 100 to-day. These permits are procurable at the Auckland station only.
