INJURIES PROVE FATAL.
The , Maori known as "Sam," who was found in a 6Ued in High Street yesterday suffering from injuries to his head, died at the hospital shortly before eight o'clock last night. The circumstances attending the discovery of the injured man appeared in last evening's '"Star." It has been ascertained that deceased's real name was Run Tora, and that his relatives reside somewhere on the F.ast Coast. He was about years of :ige. An inquest will be held to-morrow morning.
