OBITUARY.
"MR. JAMES W. OLDHAM. James William Oldham died on Sunday night in a private nursing home, aged lid, after an operation for peritonitis on Saturday. He was a married man, and leaves a widow and four children. He arrived in New Zealand with, his parents in IStil. and joined the Railway Department in IST:., under Joiia Brogden and Sons, continuing on the stall' after tiie railway was taken ove-r by the Government. He held several positions as traffic manager and station manager in the province unitrl he retired from the position of statio-nmaster a;C Hamilton some years ago. He leaves a brother. Mr. F. Oldham, and a sister, Mrs. A. M. Dignan. The late Mr. Oldham was a prominent member of the Ponsonby Rowling Club.
