HOUSING IN BRITAIN.
LONDON, August 24. The Ministry of Health received 180 new housing schemes during last week, representing proposals for the erection of 5,000 houses. The Ministry' is preparing plans for the erection of 430,000 houses. Seven hundred unoccupied London mansions have been chosen for conversion into flats.—(A. and N.Z. Cabled
