FERRY SERVICES
(To tl-r n.litnr.) Pir.—lt iv.i.s with much pleasure that I read "Whaka's" letter in your paper ol Tuesday, aud as apparently one trip of the Britannia was the cause, what about the poor, long suffering Stanley Bay resi.leiits who have had to put up with this specimen of a steamer fur some considerable time. During the period of the war one did not s«o much mind a little inconvenience, but now things are getting back into the old groove, surely it is time, some radical improvement wad made. Our fares to Stanley Bay arc the highest in proportion to other trip* in the h.irbu-ur. seeing that the trip i* the shortest and wo have the worst steamers and service.—l am. etc, STS.
