DIAMOND WEDDING.

MR. AXD MRS. HARVEY. The diamond wedding of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Harvey, 12(5, Victoria Road, Devonport, was celebrated Ihjsl Fridaq. The lifted couple came to Auckland in the year 1877. They were married at Gibraltar in ISSO. Their family and descendants total no lies than 77, including two sons, nine daughters (one of whom is dead), fortythree grandchildren, and twenty-three {treat-grandchildren. The two sons were both on active service, and one was wounded severely. The ceremony w-as a very quiet one, but a number of friends joined -with the members ■of the family in extending to Mr. and Mrs. Harvey their very best wishes. j ,„
