STORES PRACTICALLY CLEAR. AX INTERESTING TABLE. There are several notable features connected with the wool market at the present time, 51 ot very lon» ago there was such a congestion of wool awaiting export as to cause very serious concern. This position has been happily relieved during the past few months, and practically the whole of last season's clip has been lifted, with the. result that those who built large additional stores to meet the emergency are now in the position of having them practically empty. It is of interest to note, too, that the quantity of wool valued and paid for within the Dominion last season was the I largest ever handled in New Zealand. I The quantities handled at the various centres for the period between July 1, | 1018, and dune 110, 181!), are as follows: Freezing i Scoured. Slipe. Greasy. Though it is yet rather early to venture a forecast of the coming season's clip, the prospects are said to be good, and it is considered that it should be about equal to that of last season.
