DEPARTMENT CHANGES ITS JtTIND. FACILITIES FOR CHILDREN'S I DEPARTURE. ! The Railway Department announces that in connection with the recent decision that school boarders desiring to go home on the vacation would not be allowed to travel by train, that it is bow the intention of the Department to grant permits to enable the boarders to return to their homes at the convenience of the Department. School boarders who wish to avail themselves of the privilege should make early application to the stationmaster at Auckland. School boarders' tickets and the permits will be issued at the Auckland station only.
