The jubilee steeplechase of (In- Auckland Cram nun- School was In 1,1 yesterday over the new course, round Mount F.den. starting and finishing on ihe school grounds, i Hie distance being about two miles and alialf. The fa-test time was n rded by W. S. Rutherford, who tililsbeil fifth, and covered the distance in I.lm .17s. which won him the gold medal. Silver medals for fastest times in the various classes were won by 11. B. Anderson (under 17). It. Ml--Dcrmott umder lib. E. <;. Sutherland Hinder 1.1). and X. .!. Ilickcv (under 111.
