A WAENING PROSECUTION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. At the Police Court to-day a taxpayer was fined £2 for failing to supply a return of his assessable income by 2nd June, 1919. The Department stated that it would be content with a minimum fine, the object of the prosecution being to give publicity and also to cheek the practice of making no return, leaving it to the commissioner to make a definite assessment. ~r
