Various are the pleas put forward by solicitors to avoid paying fees for adjournment of civil case,- at Cue Magistrate's Court. This morning a solicitor asked that a case be adjourned by the Court because a witness was returning by a transport. .Mr. F. K. Hunt, 5..Y1., however, remarked: "That is no reason why His Majesty should loee the adjournment ice.'' An application to adjudicate VV. R.
