BRITISH CAPITAL.
INVESTMENTS IN DOMINIONS. LONDON, August 20. The bulk of the restrictions on dealings in foreign securities and investments abroad have now been cancelled. The restrictions on capital issue and dealings in enemy securities remain in force. The removal of tho restrictions on investments abroad is likely to result in the early establishment of new industries in" New Zealand and Australia. Rankers and financiers have received numerous inquiries, especially since the armistice, from British manufacturers, regarding the possibilities of openings in Australasia, but hitherto tiie restrictions have precluded action. Several prominent Australian business men are now in England for tlic furtherance of this object.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
