i ! WAR EMBARGOES CONTINUE. I ! PERMITS TO LAND NEEDED. I (Received 10.50 a.m.) j LOXDOX, August 20. The new Aliens Restriction order continues many of the wartime embargoes. Enemy aliens must obtain the Home Secretary's permission to land. Other aliens must obtain an immigration I officer's permit, which may be refused if I the alien be indigent, mentally deficient, lor cannot show that a situation awaits I him. Many of the provisions regulate I aliens* movements after admission.— (A. and X.Z. Cable.)
