A letter was read at a meeting of the CaTiteruury Rugby Union <to-n±gh± from the New Zealand Union, stating -that UQtU the next meeting of delegate none of the emended rules were ito be played. The letter was received. In order to save the New Zealand Undon any embarrassment, it was decided not to use the two slightly-altered rules, adopted by 'the Canterbury Union, in the final competition matches nest Saturday. WELLINGTON UNION. WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The Management Coinmititee of tha Wellington Rugby Union has decided to tnft>rm the Manawatu Union thait -the Wellington team will play at Pulmerston North on September 6, provided that Manawaiu plays a return match aJ; Wellington, on September It was decided to ask the CanterburyUnion to change the dates of the representative match™ ac follows:—Canterbury to play at Wellington on August 30, and Wellington to play at Christehurch on Sep•bember 13. It was decided to Inform the Slnrlborough Union that Wellington will send a iB team to Blenheim on August 30.
