Tor fifty year, the Auckland Grammar S cnoo, has been ono of the most powerful ..n.catinn.,! influences in the Dominion. During that time it has grown from tho modest establishment of its first home in the Albert Barracks to (he magnificent building which now look, over the VTaitemata and the eastern portion of the city, and which provides for the .secondary education of more lads than any institution south of the line. The picture on the left shows the old Albert Barracks at the corner of O'Rorke Street where the school was in hearty <lays. The centre photo, shows the old school in SyiHonds Street shortly after it was built, and on the right the new school, off Khyber Fass.
