TROOPSHIP MAMARI.
DISEMBARKATION TO-MORROW MORXIXG. The troopship Mamari is due to arrive in the harbour at eight this evening, bringing returning draft No. 274, .comprising 500 Aucklanders and 500 men from Southern provinces. She will berth, and the troops will be disembarked, at nine o'clock to-morrow morning, and at three in the afternoon a special train will convey the Southerners home.
The reception arrangements are much as usual. Mr. A. J. Eutrican, the Deputy-Mayor, will be accompanied by Mr. 11. D. Heather, chairman of the Harbour Hoard, on board the vessel to welcome the soldiers, and next of kin boat-s will run out to the troopship, leaving the ferry wharf at eight.
Mr. A. A. Martin, honorary organiser of the Voluntary Motor Corps, wishes the cars to be in attendance to meet tlie men as they land.
