At a meeting of the Auckland Indu:-- ---; trial Association held yesterday afternoon, reference was made to the failur >to develop Auckland's hydro-electric reI Eources, and the lack of a strong public ' opinion behind the movement was deplored. Several members expressed the view that the attitude of the City Council was mainly responsible for the lack of general interest in hydro-electricity. The Association decided to ask the Hydro-electric League to report on the progress it was making in regard to supporting schemes for the Auckland province, and to invite the City Council to indicate its future polk'-.
