LIFE IN RHODESIA.
Last evening a good audience assembled in AH Saints" Schoolroom, Blrkenhead, to listen to a lecture entitled "Official Liife in Rhodesia." given by the vicar, Bey. J. Lawrence Oreer, with reminiscences of personal experiences during his term of military and civil service in Central Africa. There were also contributions to the .programme by Mr. Messenger's orche-tra, Mesdames Selly and YVallis, Messrs. Vtaeent, Kelly, Arnold Harrisiin, Tillie. Lov!»tt and 'Wilson. At the suggestion of the chairman tfMr. W. F. tlavill), the assemblage stood a-s an expression of respectful sympathy with the absent leader of the orchestra and Mr. Messenger in their bereavement.
