WELLINGTON MEAT EXPORT COMPANY.
AN2CUAL EEPORT. The directors of the Wellington Meat Export Company congratulate shareholders on the results shown in the thirtieth annual report. The balance to credit oi profit and loss account enables, in addition to other provisions, the reestablishment of the dividends equalisation reserve to the full original sum of £20,000,-together with a substantial addition which will bring its total to the equivalent of two years' dividends 01 present paid up capital. The amount available after making -usual provision for depreciation, interim dividend, etc., is £74,412 16/1, which the directors recommend should be applied as follows: Provision for payment of income tax for year just ended, £20,500; Teserve fund. £5000: restoration of equalisation of dividends reserve fund, £20,000, and additional to this reserve, £5000, in all £25,000: half-year's dividend at 4 per oent. £6365 5/6; bonus 2 per cent, £3152 12/9; carry forward, £5364 17/10. During the year the following directors have resijmed from the board: Mr. P. A. McHardy, Mr. Martin Elgar, and Sir VT. C Buchanan. The vacancies created •by the resignation of the two firstnamed were filled by the appointments of Mr. 0. S. Watkins and Mr. A. F. Roberts. Sir W. C. Buchanan tendered his resignation. This notification he confirmed by caWe from I-ondon, and stated he would not be a candidate for election. Thp board decided not to make an aopointment to the seat thus vacated. Mr. O. S. Watkins is the retiring director, and being eligible offers himself for Messrs. O. G. Kember and A. T. Qarke, retiring auditors, offer themselves for re-election.
