The Union Company's cargo ( steamer Flora, which is bringing a shlpmeut of fruit from the Cook -lslauds, has beeu delayed, and will not reach Auckland until Friday morning. The Northern Company's steamer Arapawa went aground yesterday on a mudbank at Waipara. -She was bouuiP from Wanganui to Onehunga, and it is expected that she will be floated off and resume her journey this afternoon. Wellington consignees have received news that the Federal and Stare liner Ayrshire left the United Kingdom on July 2nd for New Zealand port?, but was compelled to • put back owing to,a tire having broken out lln her bunkers. The ship's ngeuts have received no Intimation of any kind about the Ayrshire. YSABEL FROM SUVA. The Scales schooner Ysabcl arrived from Suva yesterday morning, after a passage of 13 days. She was granted pratique and berthed at the King's wharf this morninjj. Easterly winds prevailed throughout the voyage, and nothing eventful was recorded. The Ysahel has 160 tons of copra to discharge. MATATUA OX THURSDAY. The Shaw. Savill and Albion liner Matatun has wirelessed that she will arrive at this port on Thursday night. MOKOIA'S EXTENDED VOYAGE. The Mokoi-u arrived at Auckland on Saturday uight after an extended passage of eight days from Dunedin. via ports. Heavy weather on the East Coast was responsible for her delay. A'south-east gale was blowing when she reached Napier, and she could not remain at the wharf, and hy Wednesday had landed and embarked her passengers and only a part of her cargo. About 570 tons were overcarrlcd after she had replenished her bunkers at Gisborne. Her departure is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Wednesday, and Gisborne and Lyttelton will be omitted from the usual way ports. ARAHURA'S ROUGH PASSAGE. After being delayed Tor a couple of days, the East Coast steamer Arahura arrived last night from Gisborne. She left here last Monday night, an. reached Gisborne the following Wednesday morning, and sailed for Napier the same evening. On arrival a heavy sea was running, aud she was unable to stay alongside the wharf, hut came alongside again on Friday morning, and commenced work on the cessation of heavy rain iv the afternoon.
