Mr. D. E. Bealt, of Rotorua, is at the Royal Hotel. Mr. George Herbert has been appointed county inspector for Xaranaki Council. Mr. David Auld. who died recently at Anderson Bay. Dunedin. was Ot years of age. and arrived at Port I luilmers in 1801. Hu was farming on Otago Peninsula until a few years ago.
