LONG DISTANCE FLYING.
LONDON, July 16. The "Daily Express" is offering a prize of £10,000 for a commercial reliability aiship or aeroplane return flight from Britain to India and South Africa carrying a minimum load of one ton. The Australian flight is excluded owing to the Commonwealth's earlier offer. Competitors will be judged for reliability and air worthiness. The competition" aims at establishing the fact 'that India and South Africa, despite the Lshortage of shipping, can easily be comfmunicated with from London. — (A. and JN.Z. Cable.)
