The Richardson steamer Kahu came off the slip this morning, and berthed at the Central wharf. 2fo news has yet been received regarding the departure of the C. and D. liner Port Kapler, which, is due at this port from •Newcastle on Sunday, with 3000 tons of coal. ESSEX TO LOAD. The Federal and Shire steamer Essex left Suez oa June 15 for Sydney. After discharging there she will come on to New Zealand to loa-d, being due in these waters early in August. THE ARMAGH. Loading operations on the Armagh were delayed at Waitara yesterday by the wet -weather- Ir -will now be Friday before the vessel leaves there for Wanganui ana Wellington. THE WAIMATE. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Waimate, en route from New York i to Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton, and! Dunedin. arrived at Colon on June 30 and cleared .Panama on July 1. She should reach this port about July 27. SOMERSET LEFT LIVERPOOL. The New Zealand and African Company have received cable advice that the [Federal and Shire Uner Somerset left Liverpool on July -2 with cargo for Auek- ] land, Wellington, and Australian ports, j The vessel will go first to Lyttelton to i disembark troops, and will subsequently proceed to Auckland. She is due at Lyttelton about August 1L KING CYRUS AT NAPIER. An arrival at Napier on Monday was the four-masted schooner King Cyrus, sixty-one gays out from San Francisco. The vessel has about 75,000 cases of oUs to discharge at Napier, all of which are consigned to tlje Vacuum Oil Company. SALE OF A STEAMER. EUPLECTELA FROM NEWCASTLE. I The British Imperial Oil Co.'s vessel, 1 Eupleetela, which is bringing large supplies of shell benzine, sailed from Newcastle for Auckland yesterday, and is due I here on -Sunday. She sailed from SlngaI pore on June IS. After discharging part cargo here she goes to Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. ' SHROPSHIRE AT WELLINGTON. The liner Shropshire, after having been in the stream since Sunday morning, berthed at Wellington on Monday. The most conspicuous features about the Shropshire are her five masts and her squat funnel amidships. The Shropshire has done plenty of war service. She was one of the ships that comprised the first convoy of vessels that left Australia with the "first contingent of the A.I.F. she was engaged in carrying Australian troops to the war ' zone until March. 191S, when she proceeded to Xew York and took on board a draft of American soldiers.
