OTAHUHU PRESENTATION.

As a recognition of the esteem in tthich Mr K. L. Absolura is held, local members of the Otahuhu Trotting Club gave him a send-off on his intended departure from the township. The function took the form of a smoke concert, and there was a. good attendance of tliose interested in sports of all kinds. Mr. J. Wilson presided, and after a few appropriate remarks, presented Mr Absolum, on behalf of those present, with a handsome silver coffee service. Mr. .iAlsolum suitably responded.
