SALE OF PROPERTY. \ The absorption of the Waihi Extended - Company's property by the Waihi Grand { Junction terminates a long struggle by £ a local company to work successfully a s big proposition at Waihi. The Waihi J Extended Company was floated in 1595: by Mr. R. C. Greenwood, and in the' "intervening years the sum of £G2,143 9/3 ' '. has been raised locally in calls and ex- - 1 pended upon tHe property. For that ' expenditure the total bullion won since registration nearly a quarter of a century ago, was £16 15/3, so that the investors have not had a good time. The , [

Co. paid a visit of inspection to the company's mine and plant ■* at Owharoa on Saturday.
