The Government lias authorised the establishment of an experimental farm of one (hundred acres at Galloway, in Central Otago. Arrangements are also being made for carrying on special experimental work in Central Otago in connection with the regressing of depleted areas. One of the scientific agriculturists who have ibeen engaged for giving expert advice to farmers is to be stationed at Dunedin, and his services will be available for Otago and Southland (farmers.
