AMIR AND ARMISTICE.
INFLUENCE OF BOLSHEVIKS. NO REPLY RECEIVED. A DANGEROUS SITUATION. (By Cable.—rress Association.—Copyright.) (Received 9.45 a.m.) LONDON, \fune 12. No reply to the armistice terms have been received from the Amir of Afghanistan, who is still in close relationship with the Russian Bolsheviks. There is no change in the military situation, and no rising of the tribes, which is not expected. Bolshevik influence in Afghanistan is more serious owing to the Bolshevik advance in trans-Caspia, which constitutes the worst feature of the Afghan situation.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
