LEAGUE OF NATIONS. A CAUSE OF FUTURE WARS. (Received 9.45 a.m.) WASHINGTON, June 2. Senator If. W. Johnson, of California, speaking in the Senate, said that the League of Nations was in reality a great war thrust, pertain to cause future wars. It rivetted the chains of tyranny on millions of Chinese through the Shantung derision. Open covenants of peace were now a joke and a byword.— (A. and NZ )
