SOLDIERS IN HOSPITAL.
I . INCREASED ALLOWANCES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Defence Department has decided to double the allowances paid to soldiers undergoing treatment in hospital, but who are not provided with board and lodgings. The increase will be from two shillings to four shillings per diem. -
